Are you a current or aspiring One Health researcher? Join a virtual workshop on September 21 to learn how UT Libraries supports One Health education and research. The event is open to all students, faculty, and staff interested in One Health research.
Register here to attend the Zoom event at 3:30 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, September 21.
The event will highlight the numerous online guides to One Health resources created by UT librarians. Attendees will also have an opportunity to connect with librarians who can assist with One Health research projects.
The University of Tennessee System launched the UT One Health Initiative (UTOHI) in 2020 as an effort to enhance research collaborations across the state and region to address rapidly emerging health challenges.
The One Health concept is a global effort that transcends political boundaries, recognizing that the health of humans is connected to the health of animals and the environment. To solve society’s most complex health problems, issues must be addressed cohesively across human, animal, and environmental health instead of independently.
