The staff room will likely remained closed for the rest of this week. The old carpet has been removed, but the new carpet has not been installed yet.
The construction crew has said they think the parking lot entrance will be complete this week and then they will start on sidewalk. Be prepared to see some major changes next week. The walls will be coming down from room 245 to the Commons South. Many people will be involved, and they will be hauling debris out through the Melrose entrance. Expect things to be a bit noisier than usual!
The new carpet is slated to be installed in the staff room on Tuesday, May 29. It will probably be at least a two day job, and the staff room will be closed during this time. Notification will be sent when the room is re-opened.

Cable television is going to be installed in the Auditorium. This will most likely be in place by the start of the fall semester 2012.
